Do you think that NLP can help you make someone want to have a relationship with you?

I have been reading Neil Strauss' book, The Game. Some of the techniques says pick-up artists use are effectively NLP based. I get the impression from the book that this might work in trying to pick up someone you don't know, but would be surprised if thesame tactics would work on someone you already know. What do people think?

I believe it is definitely possible. Picking up people is relatively easy with tricks, but holding on to them is what matters.
I think a person you pick up using NLP would be pretty mad when she found out it was all a manipulative techniques. I also think that if you already know someone, you might have more info to appy NLP more efficiently, but you would also be able to use… techniques that are not so stealthy.
